A Wonderful Book Written for Children by Joanne Copper - The Keeper's Garden with Free Web Access

While searching for a book for children, I found the following book written by Joanne Cooper. It is well presented and the review written by Steve Hooley says it all: "This is a great book for mother's to read to their children. Adults will immediately find the deeper levels of meaning. As children grow up and request that their mothers read the book to them over and over again, they will understand the significance with greater depth each time. This would be an excellent addition to church libraries and preschool libraries."

It is a very creative work that we have such a wonderful collection as well described by Steve Hooley for the book, named -

Learning A Lesson And A Tip For Happy Peace Night


She explains to me that if we enjoy our dreams, it helps to keep us smiling and happy, what is more is that our body, mind, heart and soul remain healthy. We can share your dreams with others.


However, we can make our dreams good and by sketching and drawing what we see in our good dreams, it will help others enjoy about our dreams and us.


She explains that I we write down important points and record it by speaking; it helps a lot. I thank her. We wish each other Happy Peace Night after I get the lesson of the day as the tip to trip for sweet dreams.

Now, it is her one of the best way to teach me by interviewing me with her tape recorder. She puts it on and asks me:


Mum: My child, I always enjoy my dreams. How can I keep it up?


I: You know, if we enjoy our dreams, we can keep it up as it helps to keep us smiling and happy, what is more is that our body; mind, heart and soul remain healthy. We can share your dreams with others. However, we can make our dreams good by sketching and drawing what we see in our good dreams, it will help others enjoy about us and our dreams.


There are three points in your dreams, firstly we enjoy it while in sleep, after getting up you remember it, thirdly while we share it with others. Yaw, the child friend says that it is a beautiful experience to learn how our mind feels what it hears, tastes, and touches when body is in rest we are not aware about the surroundings.


To have good dreams we need to relax our self by thinking about the day, remembering whatever we did and offering thanks to God and Mother Nature for what we enjoyed solving and doing. Then we discussed that we may also pray to seek help to solve the problems in a better way.


Sometimes we find some hints, clues and solutions in our dream, we may ask our elders about what hints and meanings are hidden in our dreams.


On getting up in the morning, we may also think about our dreams, we get some good points for that day. OK, have Happy Peace Night!


Mum: Thanks have Happy Peace Night, My Child!


She turns the tape recorder off. Then she asks me to write in the logbook about what is the lesson from my discussion with the child friend.

If there is the most amazing thing in the world, it is the Eight Wonder of the World, the way my mum wants to have her opinion as the best guide in scouting. I tell my mum about what I have discussed with my child friend. She is very pleased. She asks me to write down the main points that my child friend and I have discussed in my logbook of scouting.


I write down it in the pages of helping others as:

Helping others to enjoy dreams


I write about those who always enjoy dreams and in our discussion, we have discussed the same that if one always enjoys the dreams.


I discuss it my mum and she helps me. She says that for a discussion point of view, we take one of the most important points in our logbook.


She advises me that she would ask me and I will have to answer it as if I ask it and get a reply from the child friend.


She brings a tape recorder.

“It is a fantastic idea; I also ask my mum and dad about it. Sometimes, my elder sister, Simi tells it. What else can we do to understand it in a better way?” I ask.


“Well, you see, on getting up in the morning, we may also think about our dreams, we get some good points for that day. Is not it?” he replies.


“Wow! It is a wonderful idea. You want to say that we can manage our days by recalling, thinking and learning from our dreams. Is not it?” I ask.


“Yaw, we can do it. You know, I always do it. I have to finish my homework. I am going. OK, We will meet tomorrow have Happy Peace Night and Have Nice Dreams!” he says.


“OK, thanks and have Happy Peace Night!” I reply.


We both leave the peace garden. We meet everyday in the late evening. I always talk to him about many things. He tells what his granny and others has taught him.


He learns from everybody and enjoys sharing it. I will meet him tomorrow in the evening.

There conversation is as if they are building the concrete future as their mothers have given them as a gift by leaving them to think freely and in the most innovative way-their own way. What I share with him as a child friend is my scouting in the same manner as moms scout in the world as the mom guides.


“Yaw, she says that we can relax by thinking about the day, remembering whatever we did and offering thanks to God and mother Nature for what you enjoyed solving and doing. Is not it?” he says.


“Hey! I always offer my prayer of thanksgiving. You are right, you know we can also pray to seek help to solve the problems in a better way.” I reply.


“Yaw, the granny says that sometimes we find some hints, clues and solutions in our dream. Is not it?” he says.


“It is right, but have you ever asked her how can we understand these things?” I ask.


“Yaw, you know, when I ask her she replies that we may ask our elders about what hints and meanings are hidden in our dreams.” He replies.

“I will tell you. You see we have three important points that we can notice about our dreams. First point is that we enjoy it while in sleep. Is not it?” he says.


“Yaw, we enjoy it. I always wait to have for enjoying dreams. What is the second point?” I ask.


“Well, the second point is that after getting up we recall and remember our dreams and enjoy it. Is not it?” he says.


“Yaw, I always do it. What is the third point?” I ask. “Well, the granny says that the third important point is that we also enjoy when we share it with others. Is not it?” he says.


“Wow, we enjoy our dreams in many ways. We can learn a lot from our dreams. Is not it?” I reply.


“Yaw, my granny says that it is a beautiful experience to learn how our mind feels in dreams. You know when we are in sleep that our mind hears, tastes, and touches when body is in rest we are not aware about the surroundings. She says that to have good dreams we need to relax our self, is not it,” he says.


“Yaw, sometimes I do not feel relax, then my mum gives me a massage. Does your granny tell how can we relax our self?” I ask.

I am strolling in the garden with the child friend. We discuss about enjoying dreams. He tells me everything in detail as his granny and mother explain and I like it very much.


“Do you enjoy your dreams?” he asks.


“Yaw, I always enjoy my dreams and I keep it up, can you tell me, please what granny says about it?” I ask.


“Well, you know, my granny says that if we enjoy our dreams, we should keep it up as it helps to keep us smiling and happy. She says that our body; mind, heart and soul remain healthy,” he replies.


“Well, your granny is great. Can you tell me, how can we share our dreams with others?” I say.


“You know, she says that we can share our dreams by many means. We can make sharing of our dreams by sketching and drawing what we see in our good dream, it helps others to enjoy about our self and our dreams,” he replies.


“Wow, I like it. I can do it. I will do it because I can recall my dream. I try to find what is important in our dreams. Can you tell me, please?” I ask.


I find it amazing because after all we are the child friends.
